This is a typical discount department store. A bit messy but overall organized into areas that you could dig for the treasures. They were short staffed the day we went but the team that was there was friendly. We found some gifts for the family and a fun bean bag chair so overall it was a good trip and we will go back.

The reason I am writing this review is twofold. First, I want to complain about careless cashier I had a "pleasure" to encounter tonight. Although every Ross store carry rather large merchandise, when I asked for the larger bags since the cashier straggled to pack a very small pillow in one bag, she just nodded her head. She even bothered to look at me or perhaps to apologize for any inconvenience because I had to menage to carry a number of large items to my car. The carts, as you maybe do not know, in Ross stores have a metal polls so costumers can't take them outside. Therefore, be prepared to carry your order either in very small and cheap bags or most likely just unpacked! However, the second reason is actually the main reason I decided to rant. While I was waiting for the cashier to check me out a young, noticeably disabled man, approached and politely asked the cashier if she can give him a plastic bag so he can put his ID badge and a bunch of keys while he is shopping. The cashier answered that they do not have bags while in fact she was holding one in that very moment. I was astonished with her answer so I politely reminded her that she has it her hands . At that moment the store manager Pauline, who was checking other costumer, replied that THEY do not give bags for free!!! The young man appeared to be very confused so he just stood there with a surprised look on his face so I took my items from the bag and give it to him. I do understand that no store is in situation to give away free bags but there should be exceptions in my opinion if the potential buyer walks to the store, especially if the costumer is disabled. So, store manager Pauline, you did not save a penny for your employee tonight but you manage to lose a costumer and discriminate a disabled person. It cost nothing to be nice to another human being. The lady who you checked out bought a large plastic bag so you saved at least three bags that she did not take. You could give it to him. So sad.

You can find good quality clothing at an affordable price. Went there to buy a couple of jackets. To my surprise they where only 20 bucks each. Also got a briefcase and a suitcase all at a very reasonable price. Recommended.
